Do I need to pay a deposit?+
Yes, a refundable damage deposit alongside your first month. It covers early cancellation, missed payments or damage, and you get it back at the end of the agreement. Treat any provider advertising a genuinely deposit-free vehicle carefully — the cost has usually just been built into the monthly price instead.
Do you run credit checks?+
Yes, on every agreement. Providers who skip the check normally charge a bigger deposit or a higher monthly payment to price in the risk, so judge any offer on its total cost rather than the headline monthly figure.
What's included in the price?+
The vehicle itself, servicing, maintenance, road tax and MOT, plus delivery to Scotland and collection at the end. Insurance, fuel or charging, and parking aren't included, so you can arrange cover that suits you.
